  • What is the travel reimbursement policy?

We will be subsidizing travel this year. You can find all of the booking protocol details in this document.

If you book your travel by January 31, we will cover up to $500 for domestic flights, $750 for international flights, or $200 for bus/train.

After January 31, we will cover up to $200 for domestic flights, $500 for international flights, and $200 for bus/train.

Please note that we will require price comparisons to ensure that each Fellow selects the least expensive, most reasonable economy class flight. Additionally, only bus/train is reimbursable if you are coming from Washington DC, Ithaca, Boston, Philadelphia, Baltimore, New Haven, Princeton, or Providence.

  • How can I be reimbursed for my travel?

Once you purchase your Summit ticket, you will receive a confirmation email with this year’s booking protocol and information.

You will purchase your flight/bus/train ticket on your own and submit your receipts to a platform called Abacus, which we will use to process your reimbursement.

  • Can I bring a +1 to Summit?

We welcome significant others at the Saturday night Havdalah party. They can register by clicking “Purchase Tickets” and then submitting their information under “As a guest.” They will then be able to purchase a ticket at the subsidized rate of $50.

We do not allow other +1s besides significant others at this subsidized rate. If you are interested in bringing a friend to Saturday night of Summit, we are able to include them at the full price of $170 per person – please reach out to Sam to discuss.

Unfortunately, we are not able to add significant others to programming outside of the Saturday night Havdalah party.
